How Do We Ensure That Students of Color Feel Respected?

Throughout my time with the lab, I conducted research on the development of respect in EL Education and comparison schools. Our team tracked a group of students as they progressed from the start of sixth to the end of seventh grade, and I am proud to have played a part in uncovering valuable insights into this important topic.

I collaborated with Dr. Sara Rimm-Kaufman and postdoctoral scholars in original research examining how schooling and classroom experiences contribute to children’s social development and academic growth. In early August, I became a published author in The Greater Good Science Center Magazine at the University of California, Berkeley.
